ART FOR LIFE
A series of classes for the art challenged

Fourth Fridays (for Adults) January 23 7-10pm $45.
Bring a sense of play and a bottle of your favorite wine or beverage for a unique art experience.
Come with friends or make new ones. Art supplies provided. Come once or once a month!
First Steps (for Adults) Classes begin January 14 10-12noon $150.
Students will be introduced to basic line drawing and watercolor over five- 2 hour sessions.
Studio and field work.
Mixed Messages (for Adults) Classes begin January 14 2-4pm$150. Students will explore a variety of mediums including encaustic (beeswax), india ink batik,
image transfer and water media.
Kid Friendly (ages 6-12) Classes begin January 15 3:30-5pm$80./month
Students will be presented with projects in various media each week that will teach them to
see with an artist's eye and to develop the neccessary hand eye coordination to render what
they see. Art materials/healthy snacks provided.
A deposit of 50% will hold a place in the class.
All classes will be held at Kat's Studio at 415 Necaise BSL PAINTING WORKSHOP AT SNOWBIRD LODGE

March 21-26 and July 11-16 A mid-winter prayer for stillness at the heart of things... Responding to the call of winter,
we will slow down and quiet ourselves in contemplation through the medium of the illuminated manuscript.
Using a favorite prayer or poem of your choosing, Mississippi Gulf Coast artist/workshop leader Kat Fitzpatrick
will guide participants in the making of an "illumination" or watermedia/collage to compliment the words.
If you've ever wanted to bring a bit of the peace of Snowbird home, this could be for you. Beginners and
others are welcome. Dogma not included.
